Pricing Tips

You control your pricing. Because we have high standards our items sell well, but remember to ask yourself “What would I pay for this?” or “Would I pay this amount for that?”

Be sure not to overprice your items. As a general rule you will want to price items at about 1/4 to 1/3 of their original retail price.

Higher-end brands such as Matilda Jane, Hanna Anderson, Lily Pulitzer, Ralph Lauren, etc. are in high demand.

Discount brands such as Carters, OshKosh, Old Navy, Target, etc. are also popular brands, but will not earn as much.

Large toys like kitchens and playhouses (Little Tykes type items) are usually in high demand and you could get as much as 1/3-1/2 of original retail price, especially if they have only been used indoors and are in great condition.

Consider marking “yes” on the tags for your items to be discounted at our half-price sale on Saturday, especially if you are donating them anyway.
